No Religious Protections Could Ever be Enough

Same-sex ‘marriage’ activists continue to push the notion that “religious protections” are the only thing standing in the way of same-sex ‘marriage’ legislation.  As we have seen time and again however, in states where marriage has been redefined, those who seek to interpret the law find ways around legal protections in attempts to force others into compliance with the progressive agenda.  For those who seek to stomp out the religious convictions of others, legal protections are merely temporary obstacles, as this couple from Vermont found out the hard way.

Or this father, who was told by his children’s school that their family’s deeply held religious beliefs must be compromised by same-sex sexual education because it was a “civil rights issue”.

In same-sex ‘marriage’ states, honest people with religious objections are having their rights trampled on.  So how is the promise of “religious protections” in same-sex ‘marriage’ legislation supposed to instill confidence?  No matter what the law ends up saying people’s religious beliefs are going to be compromised.  The only effective religious protection is not to change the definition of marriage.
